This procedure best preserves enzymes and proteins used for conventional identification and grouping. The SERI Swab Drying Box does the job. Used in hospital facilities and labs, it diminishes the risk of contamination and improper preservation. Swabs are dried by forced air (no heat) while being held upright in a tray with horizontal and vertical rows. The clear acrylic unit provides air flow of 115 cubic feet per minute. Drying time is controlled by a 0-60 minute timer switch. The tray is removable for cleaning. (DO NOT AUTOCLAVE) One tray size is available. The 16 swab holder (E026) is purchased separately.
