OTS proficiencies are similar to Annual Proficiency Tests (APTs) but each kit is unique and available when needed. Clients receive a Summary Report which includes Target Values, Internal Referee Lab Pretest Results, External Referee Lab Pretest Results, plus the analyst's results. OTS proficiencies allow you to:

• Specify your own ship dates.
• Obtain proficiencies outside normal APT schedules.
• Allows for greater flexibility with proficiency scheduling for analysts, thereby streamlining workloads.
• Increase assurance of independent analysis by having supervisors and subordinates, or multiple analysts within a lab, each take a different test at the same time.
• Complete the proficiency process more efficiently. Even though the normal eight weeks is always allowed for completion, each test is unique so no consensus report is necessary and SERI can issue a Summary Report usually within one business day of receiving the analyst's responses.
